Since 2009, POLPO has been serving Venetian-style sharing plates to Londoners. Inspired by the traditional bàcaris of Venice, the menu features cicheti (Venetian snacks) followed by larger dishes such as pasta and pizzettes, all designed for sharing around the table. Using traditional Italian cooking methods with a modern twist, POLPO combines British and Italian ingredients to create its dishes. Seasonal specials are introduced throughout the year, making the most of fresh, high-quality produce, and are served alongside the restaurant’s classic favourites.
POLPO began as a standalone restaurant in London’s iconic Soho before expanding to Chelsea’s Duke of York Square. The original Soho location on Beak Street remains open, boasting a long bar with seating and decor reminiscent of a traditional Italian eatery.
