We spoke to terrier about town, Buster, about his favourite dog-friendly spots to go shopping – he can waltz in and get his Christmas presents with no fear of being turned away! He headed to central London with his human for a few hours – let’s see where they got to…
“Arooo West End of London, it’s been a while! I started my day with a quick espresso and a scratch behind the ear at Abuelo Coffee House in Covent Garden – because everyone needs a bit of caffeine before they take on a shopping marathon like this one!
Next it’s off to Liberty London, the capital’s oldest department store for a roam around their lovely scarf section and to look at their amazing fabrics – hopefully someone (hint hint human) will read this and get me a snazzy neckerchief for my stocking. Browsing their 6 floors took it out of me, so to prevent any big dog yawns we had a quick pit stop in Arthur’s, Liberty’s dog-friendly cafe.
Once done, it’s time for a quick stroll up Carnaby Street to check out the Christmas lights, and we make our way down Regent Street to the Apple store. This place is full of expensive gadgets for humans – I’m thinking maybe there will be a touch screen for paws one day?? Thankfully I’m welcome here too!

A long trot down Oxford Street and we head into John Lewis, which has a great pet department. Next it’s to Selfridges – I’m allowed in here, but it’s important to note I need to be carried by my human (no complaints from me!).
By this time I’m ready to eat – let’s face it, when am I not. So we head to Fallow on Heddon Street for a well-deserved lunch – I’m treated like royalty, and it’s a fully sustainable menu too!
Well, that was a big success – and the best thing about my London shopping trip? I got plenty of treats and I didn’t even have to carry any bags.”
